every one ive ever gotten close to have left me. i have done ever thing i could to talk to people and keep the friends i managed to make but they all ways leave me, no matter how hard i try to fix your friendship
now am at the point where ive lost all hope in ever having a social life
i think ill be alone for ever

Welcome to the forums
I understand. I struggle with friendships too. I have no friends that I can meet up with, no friends that call to see how I am. Nothing.
I get told to join local community groups, but the thoughts of walking into a room full of strangers fills me with dread and anxiety.
The only friends I have is on the forums here. I know it's not the same as in real life, but it does help being able to talk to people who know what it's like, who I can relate too.
I'm not sure if this helps, but you are not alone.

Hi everybody, I am new to the forum.
I used to have a lot of "friends" but then I realized real friends text you back, real friends care if you didnt show up to work that day. Now I dont have any friends, but tgats better then having a bunch a fake ones.

I hope you find some friends here! There's many lovely people around - like our dear @Shaz51!
Sometimes people can take time to reply (others you will hear back from within minutes haha) but doesn't mean folks don't care.
