Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

I realise how little i mean to people. i mean nothing.
its abit like walking down a long dark street never knowing when a light might flick on to show me the way or give me some hope.
im tired of trying. tired of hoping. tired of coping. tired of exisiting. tired of breathing. i think im done.
dear everyone that knows me, im sorry im such a disapointment. im sorry i cant live up to your expectations. im sorry i was born. im sorry if ive hurt you. im sorry if ive made you miserable. i deserve all the blame and hatred i have gotten. everything is my fault and im sorry.
im locked within the walls of my own minds and i just cant escape it.
Pain. Pain all the time. It runs through my veins a fast flowing river with nothing there to stop it.
Just get over it they say. i wish i could, im living minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. im struggling with memories that haunt me everyday and i dont think they will ever fade.
my thoughts are overwhelming and what hurts me the most is when people pretend to care but really they dont.
im so scared. things just arent the same anymore. im not doing anything right anymore. ive lsot myself, the person i once knew isnt here anymore. i dont know what to do anymore. i feel like i dont belong here or in reality. no where. i have constant feelings of being unworthy and hopeless, of being a prisioner in my own body.
i have so much pain physically and mentally. i try to stay happy. i try to keep smiling. i try to be brave. i try to be stong. i try to act like everything is ok but im far from it.
i never know when im going to have a 'good' day and at any minute im triggered and takes such a long time to recover.
there are monsters living inside me, attacking me, ripping me apart from the inside. i dont think its ever going to end
but its ok "ill just have to get over it" just as expected

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

@Former-Member. You need to read your posts and what people are saying in them.
zoe sent you a big post. Explaining how you need to 'read' the situation that other people are in.
You just did the complete opposite of that with Zoe. You kept making it all about you again - when she was explaining that we can't all be there for you - all of the time.
Stop posting 'sorrys'. Just move on.
Should you stay on the forums?
Of course. This is a site for those of us with MI.
You offer help and support to others. They offer it to you.
But you must understand - that you are not the only person on the forum. We are not professional psych staff. We cannot answer 20 questions a day. It is too much for us.
I'd like you to really read what I am saying. What zoe and mazarita have said. Show it to your psychologist. It is not all bad. You have a lot to offer.
It is now up to you as to whether you stay or go. It is up to you whether you are able to pull back a bit and give others some breathing space.
I hope you decide to stay. ♥♥

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

I don't think you stuffed up @Former-Member. I think you were just over enthusiastic.
Think of it as a learning experience. Think of it as a fresh start.
You are loved and appreciated here. Your personality shines through. You have a great sense of humor.
Just be yourself. Join in the conversations. Go with the flow. It's hard - but you need to stop always asking for confirmation that you are okay. If you back off a bit - you will find that people will offer it to you naturally.
Eg: your wonderful drawings & how you made that into something the whole forum family could be a part of. That was so special. Studying your 250 medical terms. Etc etc.
Just go with the flow. Be yourself.
It will all work out.

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

yes @utopia i did get over excited. i couldnt help myslef when i found the forums. the support everyone gives each other is amazing and i really wanted to be part of that but i obviously over stepped the line and i hope we can all move on from here.

ive read over the posts and hopefully im not missing something

please add anything in if i have missed something

so 1. i need to take a step back- maybe reduce the amount of time i spend on here

2. if others are offering advice then take a step back as too many helpers can become overwhelming

3. stick to a jsut a few threads

4. learn to read threads and comments more thoroughly

5. if i cant offer advice then maybe dont comment on the thread

6. sometimes simple is best- as in just write name- hope you ahve a good day

7. give people more space

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Yes @Former-Member. And just be aware that some people struggle. And they can't always help you either. So less tags.
More drawings. More 'aha' moments. Just be you.
