Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

I realise how little i mean to people. i mean nothing.
its abit like walking down a long dark street never knowing when a light might flick on to show me the way or give me some hope.
im tired of trying. tired of hoping. tired of coping. tired of exisiting. tired of breathing. i think im done.
dear everyone that knows me, im sorry im such a disapointment. im sorry i cant live up to your expectations. im sorry i was born. im sorry if ive hurt you. im sorry if ive made you miserable. i deserve all the blame and hatred i have gotten. everything is my fault and im sorry.
im locked within the walls of my own minds and i just cant escape it.
Pain. Pain all the time. It runs through my veins a fast flowing river with nothing there to stop it.
Just get over it they say. i wish i could, im living minute by minute, hour by hour, day by day. im struggling with memories that haunt me everyday and i dont think they will ever fade.
my thoughts are overwhelming and what hurts me the most is when people pretend to care but really they dont.
im so scared. things just arent the same anymore. im not doing anything right anymore. ive lsot myself, the person i once knew isnt here anymore. i dont know what to do anymore. i feel like i dont belong here or in reality. no where. i have constant feelings of being unworthy and hopeless, of being a prisioner in my own body.
i have so much pain physically and mentally. i try to stay happy. i try to keep smiling. i try to be brave. i try to be stong. i try to act like everything is ok but im far from it.
i never know when im going to have a 'good' day and at any minute im triggered and takes such a long time to recover.
there are monsters living inside me, attacking me, ripping me apart from the inside. i dont think its ever going to end
but its ok "ill just have to get over it" just as expected

That is not being 'horrible' little one - that is you knowing that you need to take care of yourself first otherwise you cannot look after anyone else. You have at least seen a picture so you haven't missed it completely. Breathe @Former-Member Try not to take on everyone else's 'issues' in this moment - just think about breathing and feel the love from here on the forum helping to hold you up

Well done @Former-Member .... knowing that it's time to call Lifeline ....

Breathe .....

These feelings will pass. You can only work on one little bit at a time .... that is how it is for all of us .... swim a little, float a little .....

Breathe .....

It does feel like that when you are in the middle of it. I still feel like that most days too but you know what I hold on to most - it is my family on here - they have pulled me up from the bottom of the well even when I haven't been able to see any light at all.. They have actually pulled me up from even further than that - and they will continue to do that for me and for you - why? there is a very simple answer to that - because you Matter little one. You matter to me, you matter to @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member @Former-Member @Mazarita and so many more people here. You are a very special little caterpillar and much loved.Hold onto our love and ride the wave - we are here to keep your head above water until the still water comes again.

Keep drawing - get your thoughts, feelings and emotions out on paper and keep posting the images. It is a great way to release some of your emotions by expressing them visually

Holding you close my little

Re: Depression- Really Struggling- may be triggering

That is good that you are distracting yourself with drawing @Former-Member ..... it does pass ... there are so many here who experience those lows .... and they do pass .... but they pass far more comfortably if you spend the time distracting yourself as vpbest you can, and writing to-do lists to coup cud your attention on.

My D3 dislocated both her knees a few years ago .... and physical pain is like emotional pain in that regard. It causes feelings of depression by the body's chemical responses to pain. D3 had to distract herself. Worse than that, she had to get up and move on her desperately sore knees in order to recover, because without exercising them in spite of the pain and injury, it would only get worse.

You have to work at exercises for recovery too .... push the sense of panic to one side and work at giving yourself things to do .... and as you begin to pass this stage, focus on the gpfeeling said of relief and how it feels when things start to pick up again .... you will start to develop a memory for good feelings too, not just the bad ones.

I have to take myself out for a walk very soon, because I have the space to fit a long walk into my day today, and that is an important part of my emotional regulation under my current strain .... walking becomes a positive form of self-medicating - which has to be kept within boundaries too ....

Hugs .... 💙💕

Just keep trying ....
