Something’s not right

Does it ever stop

Does it ever stop

Hey - I feel like I can’t escape how I feel, how I react to things, how flashbacks and people I see that have caused me trauma in the past and present. I feel like I’m just trapped in it some days constantly and that it just wants to stay and haunt me and not leave.

my house mates have been arguing constantly and it got to a point tonight where I yelled at them to stop as it is getting annoying as it’s nearly everyday and it never stops. Then one of them had a go at me and started yelling and telling me that it’s the other persons fault when it wasn’t even them. It’s just a constant run around and I can’t seem to escape it.

im just now curled up on my bed in tears because I’m so triggered and I don’t know what or how I’m feeling.

im safe

but it’s just bringing up all my past all over again.

@Fluttershy1 try to take some slow, deep breaths sweet, you're not alone.

What can you see around you? Can you hear any sounds?

@MissGremlin - just cars passing by, I’m sitting on the floor, that’s grounding me aswell

Re: Does it ever stop

@Fluttershy1 sitting on the floor is good to help with grounding.

Have you got any plans for tomorrow sweet?

Nope the doctors to get my blood test results & the procedure done that I’m dreading. @MissGremlin - I just wanna cry, it’s not fair at all. I just want 1 day to feel normal and not have to worry about anything or even this housemate

@Fluttershy1 oh sweet, it sounds really tough. Hoping the blood test results are ok and that the procedure goes as smoothly as possible for you.

Not sure how you feel on crying but know that it's ok to cry, sometimes life really does feel unfair and know that your feelings are completely valid.

Sending you some gentle hugs if you want them ❤️

Snuggles @MissGremlin - I’m not a cryer at the best of times, it really depends, we are not even tired yet because we are so on edge. I’m safe but trying to regulate.

Re: Does it ever stop

@Fluttershy1 I'm the same and not one to cry, but there's times where holding those tears back isn't possible. I'm not tired either despite it being almost midnight here, thinking I'm headed back into a manic state (I'm safe).

I finished my diamond art tonight, the stitch one. I was trying to get a good picture but it's made with sparkly gems and my room doesn't have the best lighting. I'll get a proper pic tomorrow but thought I'd share it for you here ☺️.

We may aswell sit together on here @MissGremlin - don’t think I’m going home for awhile till I’ve calmed down fully. It’s just after midnight for me. I just want my head to shut up. I’m safe

Re: Does it ever stop

@Fluttershy1 we can definitely sit together here ☺️. Would it help to talk about what's going through your head sweet? Sometimes it can help to get things out rather than sitting alone with it.
