Something’s not right

Does it ever stop

Does it ever stop

Hey - I feel like I can’t escape how I feel, how I react to things, how flashbacks and people I see that have caused me trauma in the past and present. I feel like I’m just trapped in it some days constantly and that it just wants to stay and haunt me and not leave.

my house mates have been arguing constantly and it got to a point tonight where I yelled at them to stop as it is getting annoying as it’s nearly everyday and it never stops. Then one of them had a go at me and started yelling and telling me that it’s the other persons fault when it wasn’t even them. It’s just a constant run around and I can’t seem to escape it.

im just now curled up on my bed in tears because I’m so triggered and I don’t know what or how I’m feeling.

im safe

but it’s just bringing up all my past all over again.

Hey @Fluttershy1 ,

As for dinner, I just scoffed whatever was in the kitchen. So I think I had a chickpea curry with salad and rice.

And then I had some yoghurt for dessert.

What about you?

@tyme - send me a email with what I need to change and info of how I can change things.

sometimes words just fly into my keyboard when I’m overwhelmed, I have been trying so hard. Sometimes I don’t know how words come out and then I look back and yeah.

I get really overwhelmed easy especially when my thoughts are racing. I wanna send something that may be helpful for yourself and the moderators and psw.

am safe

Re: Does it ever stop

I'll try and do this later tonight. At the moment, I'm going through the hundreds of notifications I've missed since being away.

It's so good to see you want to improve and post in a way that helps both you and the community.

I know you can do it @Fluttershy1

More than happy to guide you.

If I don't get it to you tonight, I'll get it to you tomorrow.

2 minute noodles? Why not! Do you like cooking? I bought a waffle maker so I can make waffles for the kids. I just use the shake and mix pancake mix and put it in the waffle maker. I've seen people dip biscoff in coffee, then layer it on the waffle maker before heating it. Not sure what that tastes like though

Re: Does it ever stop

@tyme - that sounds cool about the waffle maker! Do the kids love it? I don’t like biscoff personally, I sent you a email in best ways to help me.

im just making stars. I just need to be guided at times and reminded.

Re: Does it ever stop

Sure. I'll have a look at the email a bit later, just so I can get through all these notifications 🙂 @Fluttershy1

When I was a kid, I had glow in the dark strips for stars. So in the jar, the stars would all glow. A friend went overseas and bought them for me.

Re: Does it ever stop

Oh my gosh! WHAT GLOW IN THE DARK PAER STRIPS! It’s a need @tyme - I need to order more paper strips.

Re: Does it ever stop

Yes! I had foil ones that were perfumed too. So if you are someone that uses scents to help ground you, these paper strips are great too @Fluttershy1

When I said I did it as a kid, I'm talking about 25-30 years ago lol
