Sunday Coffee and Chat -- 8th March 2026

My furbaby @REDLINEZ750 is a Blue Heeler x Border Collie and she's 8 years old.

Her name is Luna and she is my heart. She has arthritis in her back legs. She developed it when she was three and she's super anxious and set in her ways. She is me with fur and four legs!

Sorry for the late response, I've been getting into these dips of loss of motivation, or mild depression I guess you could say, which hijacks my ability to connect accordingly.

My partner and I walked around a boat park in nature and visited a friend's turkish dessert shop. It was lovely 🥰

It sounds lovely walking around in nature and visiting a friend's Turkish dessert shop. That sounds fun! Do you like Turkish coffee? Did you have dessert? What one? I especially like Turkish Delight I wouldn't mind trying Turkish ice-cream! It's described as chewy and stretchy. I wonder what that's like!

I'm all good in my neck of the woods. Rego check today so hoping there's no work to be done.

@heartathome, thank you! I do indeed love turkish coffee! We have a machine at home that makes it, you just add the powder and water and press the button 😅 , we do have the traditional pot it's made on the stove with as well.

My favourite turkish dessert would have to be baklava and also sütlaç which is rice pudding.. both very delicious. Turkish ice cream definitely has a different texture to other forms, and I would agree it's a little bit more on the chewy side 😋

Sounds wonderful! @Rosepetal96 We have a Turkish coffee shop where I live but they don't have a big range. It would be great to have a Turkish night! Just give me the desserts! I have a triple shot in my coffee but Turkish coffee looks a lot stronger!
