Hi @LostAngel

Just a thought… but is there anywhere that can transfer your previous laptop to your new one? I know my mum has just had hers break and that’s what they are going to do for her if they can’t fix it.

I'm really sorry to hear that you've lost so much @LostAngel!! It doesn't sound at all trivial to me - sounds like there was a lot that was lost, a lot of self-expression and reflections gone in an instant... I think it's not unexpected to feel a sense of grief over this kind of loss.

I hope that by some miracle they can salvage the hard drive... but in the case that it's lost, please know that experiencing a lot of distress and dysregulation as a result of this is normal, and it's okay to take your time to process this loss 💜

@LostAngel what you are feeling is felt by a majority of people. You are doing really well under the circumstances.

I’m guessing that you didn’t backup documents or notes to the Cloud or USB device?

Did you ever post your Future Plan or achievements on the Forum?

Hey @LostAngel ,

You may think it's trivial, but I can see it's impacting you a lot. Your feelings are valid. I'm sorry that this happened to you. I know how frustrating it can be!

As for your laptop, the memory might sit separately to the actual motherboard, so you may be able to retrieve the contents on a different device.

I hope it works out for you if you take it to a computer repair place.

We'll wait to hear from you to see how things go.
