Ohh @creative_writer , my husband plays the music he likes

what music do you like ?

Hi @Shaz51 can you please provide more context on why I'm tagged here

My mum died in 2024, her memory was just starting to go. But nowhere near dementia as in @pineapple0000 's only 2 posts here

Is that what you were referring to? My uncle was just Dxed with parkinson's too?

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 14th February 2026

@Judi9877 it sounds like you have your day well planned out. It sounds very productive.

I am spending the day in bed after running around collecting orders for my family a couple of days ago has aggravated it.

I woke up this morning to knocking on my caravan window and it was my mum with a box of Lindor chocolates and my sister with a carnation and a Freddo frog (my current favourite) for Valentine's Day. My partner and I don't believe in Valentine's Day. He often brings me flowers for no reason, so I don't see any need for them on this day. A surprise bunch of flowers is much more loving if you ask me.

Enjoy your day and the beef ravioli sounds delicious.

Hi @AlwaysMyself my friend 😊🫂

how’s your day been going so far today?

I went to the Saturday workshop today (it’s my third class of the program) and it’s better than when I went there the first time two weeks ago 🙂

also things have been kinda all over the place for me this week so I’m trying my best or hardest to take it easy now

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 14th February 2026

@Blackcloud That is great that this week went even better again! I remember last week was also a bit better than the first week too. This is very encouraging for the ongoing as you are overall finding it a little better each time. 😊 (And it's Ok if there is a week or few that aren't as good, or have hiccups - that would be totally normal too).

I'm still not doing well, but I'm hanging in here still.

I like that you recognise the week has been a little all-over-the-place for you, and that taking it easy in response to that is a good thing. 😊😍. I let myself sleep in as long as I wanted to today, as my equivalent lol.

Re: Saturday Soiree -- 14th February 2026

@AlwaysMyself support button isn't working for me aaaaak and yeah thats true and hopefully I do get better at it too the more I come to these classes every more Saturdays ❤️

sending you lots of hugs my friend 🫂 you're doing so well in continuing to endure through all of these tough days even when it's not at all easy going through it, I know that that is the case for me too, as everyday feels like there's no light at the end of the tunnel and there are some days where for me it feels ok (like today because I was with my support worker and chatting to her ---> it's really nice when you have someone in real life to talk to, I feel like for me it kinda makes my days a bit better than when I don't have someone in real life to talk to)

Hi @Mustang67 . Thanks for posting the kookaburra picture- I love it! Kookaburra’s have become my favourite bird of choice after having a very good experience with 1 at a respite facility last year- kept me safe and well after a traumatic experience- so I love them now. I even purchased a soft toy kookaburra who is now sitting on a shelf in my uni accommodation as a reminder that life can be great and funny at times.

Take care.

I remember this conversation @Judi9877, I think you said you were maybe going to cross stitch one or something similar, how did you go with it ? 😊

@Judi9877 I remembered that you liked Kookaburra's. I just found this link that I thought you might find interesting.

I am glad that you now have a soft toy kookaburra who is a reminder that life can be great and funny at times. As it definitely can be xx
