Re: Frogs

😂 @tyme I had missed what you were saying about frogs freezer to microwave and was too focused on what the breed of @Shaz51s frog she posted was 😂.

Yeah cane toads no good, for a pest and ugly frog they do have a very sweet call actually 😌

but yesss green tree frogs all the way they are beautiful!! 🐸🐸

have you guys seen or heard of these ones? The Northern Corroboree Frog, found in ACT and NSW, I would love to see one, but disclaimer are toxic so no handling these ones 😀 but the colours are impressive!

Re: Frogs

Oh yes, I am familiar with the Corroboree frogs! @Chasingsunsets

Funny that i knew them instantly when i saw the pic before reading the post 😅, yet i cant tell the difference between @Shaz51 brown frog and the cane toad lol like @tyme .

Obviously i have not lived in qld with cane toads lol!

Re: Frogs

@tyme That's frogs ways, always jumping at the wrong times.

if you do not believe me you could try asking Pharaoh about frogs, he may jump out of his sarcophagus and act like a mummy, or maybe more like a zombie?

@Bunniekins @AlwaysMyself @Chasingsunsets @Shaz51

Here a clear exampled how these cute animals can have a negative connotation in peoples understanding, which of course we should never keep against the creature, like so often happens to snakes or dogs as well.

Want frogs croaking inside your head?

See how very lovely and pleasing to the eye frogs can be!

Or enjoy frogs at their cutest?

Re: Frogs

@DownMoreThanUp interesting. i didnt realize they were considered to be unclean. then again i love pigs and dogs too. i love frogs. they to me are the cutest of things. i love their croak when it has been raining. then again i am spiritual not religious.

Re: Frogs

@DownMoreThanUp agree animals are sometimes unfairly prejudiced against.

I knew of biblical frog plagues, but didnt know the connection of frogs to dragons, false prophets, or being unclean. I like dragons though 🤭.

I also like snakes and sharks even though i am very scared of them in the wild. But they have the right to live there as much as i do (or more so!). I just keep my distance and hope i dont see one. But if at a zoo or something i would love to see them. 😊 at the zoo, the snakes used for "meet and greet" often like me because even in winter my skin is very warm. Once, a snake was reluctant to return to its handler because it was very happy relaxing on my warm shoulders and arms 😅 because i was the last in the group, so he just kept it there until all peoples questions were finished lol. Im ok with those snakes because they are used to people and not scared of us, so they wont attack us unless threatened (or accidentally thinking we are food haha)
