Sunday Coffee and Chat -- 1st February 2026

I did make tuscan meatballs and garden salad for dinner with this really yummy salad dressing similar to the one from nandos so that was a highlight 😊

And basically trying every heat

/pain relief cream under the sun to try and give relief to my ankle area. It's making me feel stressed because I work on my feet and just came back from 4 months off 😅 It's not even my main foot that was injured It's the right that had a minor tear and bone bruising

I will also watch an episode of Bridgerton tonight

Thank you @Shaz51 ❤️ I know I'll get there it's just taking a bit of time to readjust to full time work. I'm bamboozled at how I was doing this before my injury!

Thanks @tyme , I really found cooking was a helpful strategy to use during feelings of anxiety or overwhelm or the blues I was getting whilst injured.

I've made a habit of trying to cook a different recipe each week. I hadn't made the meatballs for a while so thought I'd bring it back onto the menu 😊

Amazing @Rosepetal96 ! That's really awesome that you use cooking for therapeutic purposes. Do you cook for only yourself?

This is because I live alone, and I find cooking and shopping for one is sooooo hard!

This dish was so delicious, I helped myself to 2 servings! I could eat some more but the bill was getting a bit expensive.
