Re: Sunday Coffee and Chat -- 25th January 2026

I had a dread lock maintenence appointment today. @tyme it involvedabout three hours of driving and my appointment took four hours.

I didn't get any sleep last night, so I haven't done a lot since getting home.

Oooh! That wonderful dread lock appointment! I remember when you first ever mentioned it and I was so surprised. I didn't realise the work into getting dread locks lol.

Rest up then! Feet up and let yourself chillax! @NightFury

I had green wraps put in today @tyme just to add a bit of colour to my hair.

Yes, and under 4, you can't have insulin, right? Then again, if it's low, you can eat at least @Shaz51 !

Nice @NightFury ! When I saw a tagline "green wraps", I was thinking of those green/spinach wraps (food). The ones you make chicken and salad wraps with lol

I'm sure it's looks spesh!

Lol @tyme I don't have spinach wraps in my hair. They wrap a dread lock with green wool, or green ties. I only had four put in today, but it adds something different.

@Blackcloud thank you. I'm sorry to hear about the eczema. I hope it gets better soon; breast stuff is so sensitive. I think my physical health issues have been caused by unresolved trauma too.

I'm very sorry that you're having such difficult thoughts. I'm glad you are safe, but it's still a terrible thing to be dealing with. I've had the same thing in the past for a long time, but it is better now. I hope you are able to get some relief from this soon. I'm glad the forum has been helpful for you. You are a lovely person to chat with.

I will have to have sessions with her on a monthly basis since Medicare gives you 10 rebated sessions per year under a MHCP

Extras only private health insurance can be good

I'm with HBF. Flex 60 cover gives me 60 percent rebates up to $1000 worth for the year

@Ruby26 thank you my friend ❤️ and awww I really appreciate it, you’re also lovely to talk too! 🫂

have you ever used your private health insurance for any therapy/psychology related sessions in the past before?

@DogMan79 that’s interesting to hear about how much they charge for the private health insurance. I guess what ChatGPT told me last time was wrong then lol 😅 that does seem like it’s cheap. I’ve already deactivated my private health insurance account a while ago since I wasn’t using anything related to it regularly. Plus, I don’t want to be paying the monthly fees whilst being on insurance haha
