Hi @Purplequeen ,
Welcome to the forums and thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that you are struggling with having 'non-existent' mental health services.
What does support look like for you?
You are not alone. We have an entire community here, many of whom have been through similar struggles.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi @Purplequeen ,
I hear you that there are gaps in the MH services provided free or low-cost 😬 - as well as "drop-in as-needed" spaces in my case too! I've actually been struggling with that a lot the past month, but i think i'm finally getting a little bit better grip on what supports i can call on for what things and with what boundaries each person/place has. 🥰
Similar to @tyme i'm wondering what helpful support would look like for you currently?
(And i know needs can change over time and even daily sometimes).
I have found connection with peers on the forum helpful - even if there are some things i can't discuss in depth. But it complements my other supports like an online SI support group and my counsellor where I can discuss those things.
I'm also waiting to join 2 peer-support groups (one is social for people with MH) as a hope to find more people with similar experiences that i can get to know locally if i "click" personality with any of them also looking for increased safe socialisation without judgement.
Everyone has different needs for support, and its totally fine my mentioned ones don't resonate with you. I wonder though if we can help brainstorm ideas?
Some of the supports i now have i didnt know about before joining the forums 🥰 from others here.
