Friday Coffee and Chat -- 16th January 2026

hi @Chasingsunsets I'm doing ok. Had a phone call with the NDIS early assessment case manager this morning and it went well - she was great! also compassionate and understanding ❤️ I would hope that based on the evidence I provided on my internal review which I submitted to the tribunal back in November that it would mean that she can resolve the matter before my actual tribunal date.

I would hope that they can allow for my NDIS plan to be reassessed and add more funds allocated by my OT onto my NDIS portal/account so that I can be ready to access the supports that I need on the regular.

I also just got a new GP the other day to refer me to a psychology clinic I want to be referred to -- the psychologists there provide an approach that's far much preferable for me so hopefully by the time I get to talk to my assigned psychologist there soon that it all goes well 🙏🏻

Monday-Dentist. Hopefully finish this root canal

Friday-Monash University study-Mapping symptoms onto contemporary models (Basically, academics know that the DSM and ICD are about to go the way of the dodo, but nobody can agree what to replace them with)
