@MissGremlin Last week I bought 2 tubs of different ice cream flavours and it was during the 43 degree day (last Wednesday) I needed the ice cream for a reason 😂 also a wonderful treat to have to treat yourself during a scorching day especially when it gets us irritated ☺️

Thanks it’s a struggle @Shaz51 . Managed to get my shoes off. Found a slightly more comfortable position. So exhausted but fear mor spasms tonight. Good luck with your heart monitor: i’ve had one it’s not too bad.

@DogMan79 I ended up doing a pan sear and then simmer in pan after the mushrooms and onion had softened and sauce was added as I was a bit short on time. Turned out really succulent which was good, I finally learnt about slicing against the grain 😅

We also have some left overs for tomorrow's lunch which is good!

It's my current self care strategy.. doing some cooking as it pulls me into the present moment

It was a success and I can add it to my cooking repertoire 🥳🥳

@Till23 totally agree with starting up a sport for meeting people! I met my pilates instructor bestie through taking the courage to try a pilates class all by myself almost 3 years ago now! Have made quite a few buddies over the years. Albeit probably will be making some more new friends seeing as I had to stop for 4 months due to injury, but beginning back slowly and modified for my foot's healing🐌

Really glad to have found sane as well, I feel like I am establishing some really warm friendships with you all 😊

@Blackcloud , glad to hear your blood pressure was normal!

I will admit I had to do a google of celebrity worship syndrome.. but now I think I have a general idea of it..

Who's your favourite?

I can't say I have felt too strongly for a favourite singer but I have stood up for them if someone critiques their singing or lyrics and accuses them of copying someone 😅 I had my starstruck moment when I saw Dua Lipa in concert for her "Radical Optimism" tour last year, it was like a surreal experience as if i was in a dream , I'd been waiting for this moment for years... since the year I regretted not buying tickets for her Future Nostaligia tour because I thought it would get cancelled due to covid

Hiya @Rosepetal96 !! ☺️

celebrity worship syndrome is a lot more than that though 😅 I don’t wanna get into too much detail on it for now but it’s been part of my life for many years (throughout most of my existence actually). there’s both good and bad about having this sort of condition, depending on what level you fit into it, there’s 3 levels: intense-personal, borderline-pathological & compulsive behaviour. I have considered seeing a therapist/psychologist to support/help me with this sort of issue I’ve been having, which I was able to get my GP to refer me to through a MHCP (mental health care plan) today. Hopefully I can hear back from the clinic soon. Plus, the clinic I asked my GP to refer me to has psychologists that all use the neuro-affirming approach (I’m neurodivergent so yeah) which is what I’ve been looking for. So hopefully I get a good experience from it. 🤞🌸

@Blackcloud oh ok, yeah it is way more than I thought. But you learn something new everyday, I hope all goes well with your appointments and that you get a good experience out of it 🤞🌻
