Hello @Till23 sweetheart, how are you feeling today? ❤️

Thanks for checking in @MissGremlin I just had a bit of a dip yesterday. I need to keep putting one foot in front of the other.
I hope you are feeling better, I read you were also having a bit of a rough patch. You know how things go up and down with MH, so I hope your rough patch smooths out really quickly and well.

@Till23 you're so welcome sweet, I've been thinking about you today.
I hear you, we all have times where things get the better of us and it can be hard to find positives during those times. Sometimes just trying to find the little glimmers in your day can help, little things that make you smile or laugh. At first it can be hard to find those moments but over time you'll begin to see them more. Definitely keep putting one foot in front of the other beautiful and know that we are always here for you. You've got this ❤️.

Hey @Till23 , I'm glad you posted. Supporting you is not dependant upon how much you post/respond to others. There are *heaps* of people on the forums that only ever post when they are in distress - and that's ok! My care is not dependant upon your effort. So yes, i am glad you posted. But I am also sorry that you don't feel it yourself; but I hope you can believe us that we are glad and want to help support you.
Drastic kick-in-the-pants change, eh! Well... we all know that's what I've also gone for this year 😅 for quite a similar reason to your experience!
I wonder... do any of these "drastic change" ideas *feel relieveing* to your soul (even if your brain says they are not a responsible option -- we're not asking that part to chime in just yet!)
..
- Put a pause on all (or some?) Volunteering activities for 1 month (or 3 months? 6 months?).
- Put a pause on any "commitments". Only sign up to do adhoc "if you want to at the time" activities
- consider moving locations (you said drastic, lol - a new physical environment can be a new area to explore)
- consider returning to part-time work in a meaningful, fulfilling role?
- go on a driving holiday around regional or coastal towns -- wherever you feel like -- for a month or two.
- train for a fundraiser marathon? (Not sure thats drastic, but some people really like exercise, and i know you like doing something with meaning)
- start up an activity club? Or a local social support group? (Unless over-socialisation is a problem, of course!)
- take up skydiving? Or rollercoasters?
(Seriously, a psychiatrist said this to me once 😅 to "feel more alive" 😶. Not my try of "feeling alive" though thanks!)
There is no "right or wrong" answers. Maybe none of these ideas feel right for you -- and that is totally fine. Its about finding what will help feel "lighter" like @NightFury said. (Ps NF i loved your response so much!). What is the Helium for your soul? What will lift your inner balloon? 🤔

Thanks @AlwaysMyself..
Thanks for your strategy suggestions.
Thanks for trying.
I should not have posted. I didn’t tag anyone when I posted.
I actually want to delete this thread.

Why don't you think you should have posted?
Because you don't feel deserving of our care and attention? 🤔 or shame?
Its ok to tag or not tag people @Till23 . You are always welcome to tag me though. But also know i am ok with you also saying "i want ideas from people, but i'd like to hear from other members who i don't already know." 😊

@AlwaysMyself
I think I realise it’s a personal thing and therefore I shouldn’t have posted. I was feeling a bit more down.
I know people are trying to do the right thing and I appreciate that.
I’ve deleted some of it now.
.
You are always a compassionate person and try hard with your posts, you’ve always said nice, well thought out things to me and others. Although I appreciate your responses, I don’t want to use up your time I know you have your own things you are carrying

Hey there @Till23,
It sounds like you've been going through a really rough patch lately.
At times our thoughts can get so overwhelming, that it makes it difficult to accept or seek out support, even though we might need it at that point 😞
It's okay to feel unsure about how much or what to share. Talking about our struggles requires a lot of vulnerability, and it's alright if a part of you might not be ready to sit in that space just yet.
Although I believe you're deserving of support, and might find great help having your posts stay on the platform, I also understand that having control of your experience is important 🙏
So if deleting some of those posts that you've shared, would allow you to feel safer as you go through these tough times, I encourage you to do just that for your own peace of mind.
If you'd prefer some confidential support instead of the forum support at this time, there are support services available such as Lifeline and BeyondBlue, that might offer you the privacy that you're needing.
I hope that you're prioritising your wellbeing and self-care tonight, and that you're able to give yourself the compassion that you deserve 🌼

Thanks @MindfulMango
It’s ok, I’m trying to lie low a bit now with this thread as I’ve reconsidered whether I needed to post at all and I have deleted the initial post, in an effort to not draw further attention.
Thanks for mentioning other places where I could get support, I’m aware of them.
