@PeppyPatti , that sounds like a great strategy to bring you some calm and focus. What sorts of needle work is it? Like crochet or knitting?

Oh thank you for asking. I realised at about 5, years old I just love sewing. I’m definitely not professional or anything : just sewing up and down but I machine embroider quilts.
also hand sew little bits and pieces.

I can’t knit. I think iv been too traumatised by my mother screaming at all four of us -my 3 brothers and myself whilst she was knitting. lol

@PeppyPatti that's amazing! It takes a fair bit of effort to sew effortsly, I had terrible trouble in textiles at school, and I guess had a pretty horrible teacher in high school, fortunately my mum is a textiles proess and always helped me fix my mistakes and had the patience to show me the basics to sew holes in clothing and things like that.

Sewing embroidered quilting sounds beautiful 😍. I reckon there's something rewarding about taking a step back and reviewing your progress to see how far you have come...
