@MissGremlin The visit with the family was nice and mum was reminiscing about the old days. And even though I had heard it several times before, my partner hadn't, so I sat there and listened to her. And I can see where I get a lot of my personal traits from. Lol

And there was an added bonus as one of my nieces and great nieces where there at the same time, so it was good to see them as well.

Hi @rav3n, yes I am taking it easy. I just have to keep reminding myself not to lift stuff heavier than 5kgs. Lol

I am so used to doing certain things myself, that it's hard to remember that I can't do it. The first this I did when I got to my mum's today, was to pick up my cat. Then I got told off, because she would weight more than 5kgs. I think my handbag weighs more than 5kgs too. I think I will just rest in bed and read.

But I want to see what my three little elf mates get up to today. i hope they don't get into my coin collection. Lol

Sorry I didn't check in a lot yesterday! I had a very active day!

We visited our close friends and their baby son, almost 4 months, so I got to spend a lot of 1 to 1 time with them.

This is what I miss about my job,which I am very excited to be going back to come the new year on a slow resumption of duties as per my foot's capabilities in line with physio and gp.

There's something about children that draws you actively into the moment and you forget about what is bothering you. 💖🌻

It was such a lovely day. I definitely felt a little more grounded

I've been practicing some breathing techniques to activate my vagal nerve to remind myself it's ok to relax
