All things coffee

All things coffee

So if you're like me, you're a coffee snob and barely tolerate instant.

I completely adore coffee and find my body has adapted to it.

But what is your *favourite* coffee?

Feel free to be as particular or basic as you like

Mine is similar to @rav3n's

If it's in the morning my coffee requires 3 shots

Afternoon is only 2

  • White chocolate (powder not syrup)
  • 2 or 3 coffee shots (medium roast)
  • Lactose free milk
  • Warm not hot
  • Rainbow sprinkles on the froth

Now if I'm going to be *really* particular

The powder doesn't go in before the coffee shots

It goes in with the milk which allows it to permeate the entire coffee and creates that floaty white chocolate enhanced mocha that tastes good until the final sip because of its consistency.

So it's your turn?

What is your dream coffee?

Re: All things coffee

Single espresso shot

Caffeine is heat soluble. Most of the caffeine is released in the first shot. The second/third shot is more about flavour if people do those, with less caffeine than the first

Cafes can never get it right though. So if I'm out-then a large flat white. Unsweetened, full cream milk

@DogMan79

There's a cafe that I like that do a shot of light roast which has the most caffeine in each of their coffees and any additional shot is done in a medium to dark roast for the flavour.

Oh @avant-garde what a great thread

I love the sound of your coffee

@Shaz51 I get some of those packets for my mum. Easy for her to make.

I don't have a specific type of coffee I drink. At home I have Nescafe. I did buy some coffee syrup from Aldi the other week to make iced coffee's. Actually tastes quite nice.

My type of coffee is the stronger the better.
