Self care by growing a garden

Self care by growing a garden

A SOS to any green thumbs out there

I have always found gardening to be therapeutic and it has given me great joy. However, after a major crisis with Mr Darcy's health I have not had been able to get back into it. Have other gardeners suffered from a similar hiatus and how have you recovered and got going again?

Darcy

PS have a spot that needs filling any recommendations for a 1m high cool climate white flower plant?

@Shaz51

It would be lovely for your mum to enjoy the garden for as long as she is able.

mum is unable to do her own gardening now outside

But I have been transforming her patio and carport into a gardening room

looks really nice but mum said it needs more colour

have a picnic table and chairs there

and a birdbath out in the yard

and she loves feeding the birds

As well as getting some more weeding done we were able to get some planting done today 🙌. One of the bargain plants bought earlier this week along with some seedlings are now in situ in the front garden and have been mulched.

Making slow but progress on weed + weedy plant removal. Well ahead if what our green bin can handle.

Thinking especially of @Former-Member and @Sheila this morning.

Mum wanted to get me a tree for my birthday so yesterday we called into a nursery and purchased a deciduous magnolia 'genie'. Feeling just a little bit blessed.
