Self care by growing a garden

Self care by growing a garden

A SOS to any green thumbs out there

I have always found gardening to be therapeutic and it has given me great joy. However, after a major crisis with Mr Darcy's health I have not had been able to get back into it. Have other gardeners suffered from a similar hiatus and how have you recovered and got going again?

Darcy

PS have a spot that needs filling any recommendations for a 1m high cool climate white flower plant?

@Former-Member, in that case, the guy who invented the wheelbarrow was really on a roll.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Heyo all.

Got out for a little while this morning, pulled more weeds and distributed some compost. The garden plans I had for the rest of the day have been waylaid by overcast weather and some big scale sorting and tidying in the house. We've got too many stashes of stuff, and never seem to have the mental energy to go through them, so I'm trying to make enough headway for us to feel as if we can catch up and keep up.

Weeds outside, junk inside... must admit I much prefer the weeding. Ah well... Tally Ho and into the fray I go!

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Am thinking my poor old garden is going to have to get through spring without too much of my help. Am feeling snowed under with my To Do List this month.

Ah at least the zoo will be good tomorrow.

Hey @Shaz51 WHo would have thought our gardeners are blessed with such wit. ...ROFL ... not quite .. but I love the spirit.
