Self care by growing a garden

Self care by growing a garden

A SOS to any green thumbs out there

I have always found gardening to be therapeutic and it has given me great joy. However, after a major crisis with Mr Darcy's health I have not had been able to get back into it. Have other gardeners suffered from a similar hiatus and how have you recovered and got going again?

Darcy

PS have a spot that needs filling any recommendations for a 1m high cool climate white flower plant?

@Shaz51, my sister has a bunch of different zygos we brought back from our parents' place. They're enjoying the extra TLC she's giving them, and saying thank you by putting out some lovely healthy new growth. 🙂

Today.... I cut down all the frosted tomato plants, salvaging the green toms for pickles along the way. Did a bit more pruning. Planted a snapdragon. Planted some interesting Nigella seeds. A variety called "Transformer". I've grown them before, they're fun. They look positively alien!

As our proposed move is an interstate one I rang biosecurity and am really pleased there is no problem at all with me taking the phaelenopsis orchids, was even told that as long as my bulbs/other garden faves were in potting mix - not soil - I could bring them too (no fruit or veg though). I won't be able to take too much due to space restraints but the temptation is there ..😀😀😀
