🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., 🖼

@Smc @Former-Member @Appleblossom @Former-Member @PeppiPatty and anyone else with an appreciation for the world of art ....

Hi and welcome ....

Here is a gallery space for art in all its forms .... posting a piece of your own work, perhaps in progress .... sharing a favourite artist .... just coming to browse occasionally .... a meeting of minds and experiences through creative expression.

(Moss Roses by Pierre- Auguste Renoir)

Has anyone watching a time lapse video of a story of a still life?
I watched one thi morning and it was amazing! It showed the flower growing and then dying a peach sitting there then eaten and the seed remaining and a glass of wine being poured then wine bottle moved away and the glass emptying!
Its awesome!

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., 🖼

It’s challenging and fun @outlander ..... wanna give it a go ? Choose something simple to start with, like drawing a horse with pencil, then painting into it with strong coffee.

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., 🖼

You draw horses beautifully @outlander, but try it with anything you like.

It looks like something called “sepia wash” which is what the old-fashioned brown and white photos look like from the 1800’s so you could use it for any subject really.

Re: 🎨 .... ART. CLASS ..., 🖼

thanks @Faith-and-Hope i find them hard to draw. i wish i could get my watercolour arts to work, i find they just spread over the page and then i jsut turn them into those abstract style paintings with no particular patterns. mum told me to do those, frame them and then sell them.

i had to take a look at the sepia wash your talking about. im trying to work out if its a type of paint or is it more like an ink?

i love the ones you done with the coffee. the bottom one with the serviette, i like those sorts too- the style. its not so detailed but you can make it out what it is.
