Re: Parental Alienation

@carbre4659 - unfortunately, 1800 RESPECT (Home | 1800RESPECT)

treated me worse than anyone else - it got so bad the way the spoke to me - that I landed up needing to call lifeline as I was in bad shape - being alone in a new country.

I still don't have much support - even with my GP and psychologist - it has taken me 3 years now to finally start trusting them and actually opening up and sharing what I really went through.

Re: Parental Alienation

a hundred percent money trumps fairness and justice.

thats a horrible reality & something i should of thought of.

please know im really sorry for any negative feelings i caused,

i see that my seperation from kids is not comparible to alienation you and appleblossom are living through nor can i ever understand the magnitude of heartache and suffering you both experienced from a bias and unjust system.

i respect the strength and versatility needed to survive , as well as the courage to reach out and share what your living with. even more so after the treatment you have recieved in the past.

i hope you can see i meant well even if i have spoken out of school.

i understand being alone in a country with no family or friends i was advantaged by speaking english though which is another uncomparible i suppose.

please know i wasn't being suggestive or accusatory or making assumptions.

makes sense if you saw insinuations given the lack of compassion and judgement you have experienced over such a long time not to mention how cruelly you were treated and silenced by a corruptible. system

i hope you dont think i was minimalizing your experience by my misunderstanding Alienation.

i believe Appleblossom is genuine caring person from interactions on various threads if it helps and as posted she knows first hand your pain and the cruelty of people.

if you want to vent in middle of night im up till 3amish most nights if feeling alone and want a chat about anything or anytime i will always respond and no its never annoying and yes i do care.

wish i could be more help @Sadness2015 i hope you have better experience here than other forums,

i wonder if you have fur baby?

@REDLINEZ750 - the systems are quite corrupt in Australia regarding fairness with children separated from parents .... unfortunately money trumps every time. Scary and sad.

This is the first time in 10 years that I have interacted with people this much - not sure if I will even manage mentally to be on this site often, as it is really triggering me .... especially since I am dealing with so many physical medical issues at the moment as well.

Unfortunately, I have started disassociating in the past 2-3 months - as my brain can no longer cope with everything that has been happening (that is what my phycologist said last week).

I feel like I am at the end of the rope on a mental capacity - so trying to focus on other things (like going back to studying) as then mentally I am dealing with something else and not 'in my head so much'.

Re: Parental Alienation

@Sadness2015 It makes a lot of sense that you would feel heaps of vulnerability in opening up and sharing online. Do what you need for protecting yourself. I turned to art and it soothed my very woulnded soul a lot.

I am glad you have finally been able to begin to open up with your Gp and psychologist. I really hope that those supports continue and grow. I am one of those who have called the crisis lines around 10 years ago, couple of times, but vowed never to call them again. I do not find crisis service or CAT teams generally that good, so bumble along trying to survive in my own way. The forums aren't perfect, but there is a lot of goodwill here, and a broad range of people so we can resonate on different aspects of our feelings, thoughts and lives.

Maybe I shared too much and can edit it down, but I was trying to let you know that you weren't alone. I have had to grieve for my relationship with my daughter and my son's chances in life, cos when there is parental alienation there is a lot of collateral damage. I also now realise that my mother tried to alienate me from my father, kept jeering at him, where he put her on a pedestal, stuff like she told me to be quiet one morning, if I wanted to see my grandparents, and put me on a train interstate, when I was 10. Didnt see either parent for 6 months. Trauma has been a big family pattern for me with many different twists and turns.

I agree, money has made the legal system very unjust.

Re: Parental Alienation

carrting so much for so long i cant imagine and will not pretend too know how it feels for you.

i hope you dont regret sharing, its telling of how youve been treated that your still needing to expose yourself to vulnerability, that i do understand completely.

i only discovered sane this year after hearing the CEO talk on a podcast and its my first forum, i have always been a closed book and not on facebook or any of those things so the whole sharing on line concept i struggled with,

i am lucky for the experience ive had and people i frequent each day i dont know what goes on outside of the threads i stick too and when they are quiet i will look at new entries in case im able to help as been helped.

i dont know how many users there even are , i dont like nunbers

i hope you feel safe and accepted first and only experience as i have.you deserve it.

i i have had a lot of judgement and labels from people, in life and do nott latch onto first sign of kindness to feel safe. usually look at kindness with skeptisisn.

being anonimous made it easier for me to share some experiences that i have held for years and partly as a self sabotage thing when i started liking the people.

i was so sure of being turned on thought id speed up the pricess and test the boundarys

only told the truth of course and no judgement or avoiding me came.

i have seen a common theme of people saying they have found this forum to be less judgemental and a lot kindeer than others and you can email the tean as well if this feels too much which is understandable

would you mind sharing what music you enjoy lystening too @Sadness2015?

Hi @healingalienati welcome to the forums. Really sorry to hear that you are alienated from your son, that would be so painful. Very glad you found this space to connect with others. The community is here for you 😊
