I sometimes impulse buy - books mostly. Well I impulse bought a book in French and so then bought French lesson DVDs so one day I could read the book. lol But I've done the first lesson and it was fun so one day might start again.

The Greek is or at least was a dream of mine - to read scripture in its original language. More challenging though because of different alphabet. Also at a point where I need to restart to refresh what I've learnt so far.

The first 3 months are the really hard part. @Realness you have to be very determined.

Thanks. Yes. Until recently (the last year or so) I was working full time and would use the two week blocks of annual leave to learn more of the Greek. It was that much of a dream.

Life has changed. I now have the time but struggle with the motivation.

I've been a regular couch potato for a couple of days, trying to shake off this heavy head cold. But I had to actually put clothes other than PJ's on this morning and head out to Kmart. When I got back I had a few jobs to do and now I've hit the rest mode button again.

I understand I have the time to do research or write fiction but no motivation. @Realness Too busy with garden, walking, cooking and Spanish in the mornings when I have the energy. Usually read fiction in the afternoon.

I had my usual high fibre cereal for breakfast @Jynx need it to go to the toilet. If I’m hungry I’ll cook something else but usually the cereal is enough. I eat my main meal at lunch time and usually have a light dinner.
