Saturday Soiree -- 15th November 2025

I’ve had six coffees today! @Shaz51 Cause so sleep deprived want to watch a BBC drama on ABC at 7.30-8.30. Will probably fall asleep like usual. Just reading forum posts so many of them. Hope you feel better soon.

Only took 3 appts incompetent! @Shaz51

Love it 😍 @MissGremlin @Shaz51 @Snowie @ENKELI what are your fav pancake toppings? I'm a sucker for maple bacon but am also very partial to cinnamon butter!!

Hello @Oaktree @Glisten , @Kashmina

@PeppiPatty @Jacques , @Adge

Ready here for a pancakes party 🥳

With @Jynx @GezzaP. @MissGremlin , @Snowie , @ENKELI

@MissGremlin I've got plenty of pancake mix for all!!

@Jynx I like to keep it plain. Mixed berries and maple syrup.

There is a local cafe that does Nutella pancakes. They are so yummy!

@Shaz51 I know what I'm having for breakfast tomorrow morning

@Jynx i love maple syrup and whipped butter 😋

@Snowie pancake party at your place then 😂. I'll bring some toppings 😋

@Snowie @Shaz51 @GezzaP @MissGremlin @Jynx

Here is my recipe for pancakes.

1 cup plain flour

1 cup self raising flour

1/3 cup sugar (any kind)

2 eggs

Vanilla (I freestyle this)

and enough milk to look right. It should be like pouring cream.

Mix with a mixer or stick blender

I used to make pancakes for the kids most weekends. It works best if you make the batter and then stand it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes. Give it a stir before using. This makes a lot so cut the recipe in half if there is only one of you.

@Snowie yes! Welcome to the pancakery! May your syrup be warm and your pancakes fluffy!
