just finished having a cup of tea
thankful to finally have a sleep in this morning and a rest day. things have been truly so busy for me lately. nothing major, just general day to day stressful things overlapping with trauma recovery, but haven’t been able to rest and practice self care as much as I need to so I’m cherishing the days where I can actually rest and relax a lot more than I usually would.

I need to gather energy to get off the couch and have some food soon, but luckily I made sure in advance that I wouldn’t have to do much by cooking enough dinner for leftovers last night and getting nice quick snacks in my last grocery trip.
@Shaz51yes I agree self care is super important
I bought myself a yummy cake to have for dessert after dinner last night but heat and stress made me so exhausted I fell asleep basically the moment the sun went down.
so lamb wraps with hummus then cake and ice cream for lunch for me today

I slept late too @NightFury and still finding it hard to get moving. It’s a lazy day for me although I did do a load of washing.
