Yeah a good sporting night for me too, as the Raiders also had a win against the Cowboys.

@Former-Member My boys had a shocker today and we have Collingwood next week - not at all hopeful that we can add to our wins after today's effort. I know we don't tend to play well in Melbourne - especially the MCG but half of them looked like they were still on the plane lol

@Former-Member I just realised parra play your Raiders tomorrow night - that should be a cracker of a game but think your guys will do it in a close one.

Hi @Zoe7 Yes I saw some of the Lions match and they were outplayed, beaten by a better team on the day.

Unfortunately the Swans were also outplayed on Thursday night by Melbourne. Its a pretty tight leaderboard, as the only 2 unbeaten teams coming into this 4th round (Lions and Geelong) were both beaten this round. And one of the teams without a win (Melbourne) won. Damn it ... at the expense of Swannies.

And yes, I had noticed that my Raiders play your Eels tomorrow from 6.10pm. Hoping its a good game. They are currently equal on the ladder, within the top 8. Hoping its a good game. I will try to watch it.

My ACT Brumbies are currently playing agains Lions in the Super Rugby. Look like they should win, barring any late collapse of form.

Ha ha, yeah I guess @Zoe7 . Although it could still be a draw after extra time I believe, if no golden points are scored in the additional time. Not sure if that has happened yet, but it could.

Swans play Richmond on Saturday night. In other words the matches are not getting any easier. There really are no easy matches these days, which is actually a great place to be for the competition. And its great that many of the bottom teams from the past few years are currently near the top of the ladder. Lions a case in point. I hope your Lions can overcome the Magpies next week. They are not my favourite team, possibly because I have not time at all for their President, Eddie McGuire. Or perhaps I'm just showing my team bias here? 🤣 Eddie has been so critical of the Swans over the years.

Okay so my Super Rugby team, ACT Brumbies, won 31/20 as full time siren just sounded. So there's my win for the weekend!

Richmond showed today that they are going to be hard to beat by anyone - I watched some of that game and they held on well in the end.
