Hey @MDT ... how about the mighty Swans big win over last years grand finalists The Lions tonight?

All the Swans youngsters did so well. They looked slick and fast and talented. I hope they can do that each week.

If they can, they will be a contender to at least make the finals this year. Something most of the experts were not predicting. Having said that ... I dont think the Lions played very well tonight ... possibly they underestimated the Swannies. The Swans winning was a big upset after all. Dont worry @Zoe7 ... I'm sure your Lions will bounce back.

Your Bluebaggers put up a good fight on Thursday night @WIP , before going down. I think they would have done your dear Dad proud. I do think Carlton are on their way up.

My Raiders had a win last week, and I'm hoping they can do it again tomorrow. Could be a very wet game.

My boys were just not switched on at all and your Swannies deserved the win. They look like they will be a team to watch this year and it was lovely to see so many of your new boys make an impact.

Yes my Eels were a real surprise - beating the Storm has not happened for a long time so that is a real positive.

Oops, of course, my error @Zoe7 . The Lions should have been in the GF, they were best team all year. Even finished top of the ladder at end of home and away, and GF played at their home ground. Silly me ... It was Tigers vs Cats in the GF. I was so disappointed the Lions never got there. Cant believe I forgot. Bl**dy cancer pills!

We definitely played our grand final the week before beating Richmond @Emelia8 and although it was disappointing not to make it I was still very proud of how far the team had come over the year.

Clover is aslepp on Toby's bed - she has been more adventurous and playful today so she is settling in well - such a gorgeous little fluffball ...I am soooo lucky - 3 wonderful fur babies 😺🐶😺💖💖💖

She is such a lucky little girl to have you as her mum.

I will give my sweet little Holly a cuddle from you. She will like that. She has been thru a lot the past 6 weeks with her operation etc. Now she is booked in for an ultrasound and other tests at the vet on Tues. But with all the major flooding here, at the moment I cant get into town. May need to defer.

Edit ... speak of the devil. Just after posting above, I got a call from the vet. They have to close Mon/Tues due to flooding. Rang me to reschedule Hollys procedure to Wednesday. Hope I can get through by then.

I have read about poor little Holly - a bit too close to home with Cat - so I really feel for you both. ...but we would do anything for our babies so I have no doubt she is in good hands

Clover has taken up residency on my bed - came home from shopping and found she had made her way there - not sure how she got there 'cos she is so little but she has found a way lol She slept on the bed the whole night (and Toby on his bed on the floor) - was just me not sleeping checking on her all the time. I think tonight will be better now I know she is okay and finding her feet on her own 👍

I think little Clover may be a climber @Zoe7 ? Climbed onto your bed via quilts, doonas, etc. She looks way too little to have jumped. Determined little mite.

She is the size of my 2 hands put together @Emelia8 ...and my hands are little. I was quite shocked at how small she was - looked bigger in the photos - but shocked in a good way ...she is just adorable.

I think she will be a climber too - she is already showing she is a cheeky little mite and I can see her quite quickly taking over ...going to be an interesting ride lol

Brisbane Lionesses AFLW 2021 Premiers - has turned a sad day into one with a little joy in it 😊

Yes, @Zoe7 it has been a great day with the Brisbane Lionesses winning their first premiership against the Adelaide Crows by 18 points. What a game despite me only seeing the last 2 minutes of it and following the scores online. So proud of the girls! The boys VFL team defeated the Bombers in Moreton Bay as well today so let's hope we can get 3 wins out of 3 today and beat the Bombers tonight in the AFL!
