Hello sports fans @DJMasters @Zoe7 @WIP @MDT @Eve7 @Former-Member and everyone else!

It's finals time in NRL and AFL as well as Suncorp Super Netball for me at least and I'm pleased to say that I'm feeling very happy this morning! My Brisbane Lions are in the winners circle after defeating Richmond Tigers last night- our first win against them since 2009! Great to be a lions supported get @Zoe7 ? St Kilda play the Western Bulldogs tonight and West Coast Eagles pkwy Collingwood Magpies. Port Adelaide defeated the Geelong Cats on Thursday night which means they and Brisbane go straight through to the preliminary finals for Week 3 before hopefully Brisbane being in the big one the following week at home at the Gabba!

We've also had the NRL start up finals this week with the Penrith Panthers winning against the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne Storm playing tonight against the Parramatta Eels. Go Storm! Oh

and the Sharks, Raiders, Bunnies and Knights are still to play this weekend in elimination finals.
As for netball, it's the Melbourne Vixens playing the Sunshine Coast Lightning (Melbourne Storm's netball affiliate team) in a spot to make it straight to the grand final with West Coast Fever playing the NSW Swifts. Go Fever and Lightning!

There's also the French Open on in tennis - no Aussies left unfortunately- so it's great to be a sports lover. I'm also aware of other sports possibly soccer also playing as well?

Yes a great win by our boys @Judi9877 Every single player contributed and they thoroughly deserved to win. My Eels play tonight so will be watching that with interest. Playing at home will be an advantage but the Storm will be a tough opponent to get over - they always step up another level in finals anf our defence will need to hold up better than ever.
