All Things Sport...

There is talk that we may hold some matches in Tassie also @MDT - most likely in the north of the state. I doubt it will be Australia but if we play a game in NZ then I may even make the trip and double it with a holiday - been a looong time since I have been on holiday anywhere ...the last time was to see Liverpool play in Sydney.

Yes I did @MDT missed most of the second half but the first half had all the greats come out of retirement to play so it was worth it for that one half - I got to see Steven Gerrard play for the final time and that was worth the trip.

I also got to see Vivid later in the week and that is something I want to go back to Sydney to see - it is an amazing spectacle around the city.

I have always thought it ironic that in sport, the instigator of niggle and biff (the aggressor) often gets off scot free. Whereas, those who retaliate out of frustration, always seem to cop the punishment.

I'm sure you are thrilled with your numerous wins over the past few days (Liverpool, Eels, Lions, etc). Although I think your Eels win over my Raiders last night was a trifle lucky. I was proud of my boys to come back from being 24/12 down with only a few minutes remaining, and thus force a golden point result. I have to admit though that probably the best team on the night won. Said somewhat grudgingly 😠

@Zoe7 ... I hope both your Lions and your Eels continue to bring you enjoyment, and that they both go on to grand finals at the end of the season. I would like to think that my Swans and Raiders could be there too, though I think that's much less likely than either of your two teams.

Thank you for the closeness and understanding we once shared. You will probably disagree, but I think we are very much alike ... you and I. Perhaps too much so. Sending you wishes for a safe and happy future. Of course I wish you well, I always have.
