All Things Sport...

All Things Sport...

There are many threads dedicated to sharing experiences - good times and not so good - so I thought I would start a thread for those on here who love their sport. For me - and I suspect for some others - sport is a good distraction as it often blocks out the more negative emotions and helps to avoid triggers that many other things in 'life' so often seem to do.

This thread can also be a place where like-minded (and not so like-minded people @utopia @Former-Member @Zoe7 lol) can 'discuss/debate' their respective competitions in their preferred sport(s).

For those that are definitely NOT into sport @Phoenix_Rising for example - avoid this thread at all costs - whoops just tagged you in..........hahaha!!!!!

Yes I agree @MDT .. The crowd in Rod Laver Arena are definitely pro Thiem. Not so outside the stadium though, where all the Serbs are barracking for Djokovic.

I hope you are right that Thiem has this. He does seem to have stepped up and taken charge now, and Novak becoming flustered. But cant write off Novak even when 2 sets to 1 down.

Have a good day back at work tomorrow @MDT and sleep well.

I dont think I'll last another set @Zoe7 @MDT so I will say goodnight and hope Thiem can finish it off.

Re: All Things Sport...

@MDT It was a relatively good day today - didn't get as much done as I wanted to but did get the desks and other furniture set up. Will have to stay late tomorrow to label their books though.

I was disappointed Thiem didn't win last night after Novak carrying on with the umpire. Before that I wouldn't have really cared who won but was still hoping for Thiem to take it out.

Our girls beat India in the 20/20 yesterday but it was closer than it should have been.

@Former-Member I have the cricket on - I hope you are watching it too as I like to think we are both doing the same thing at the same time I think it is going to be a close game.

Yes @Zoe7 I have been watching the cricket since the start of the match. Good to see Healy scoring some runs after a lean trot lately.

Oops .. Healy just got out for 51.

Yes could be close finish.

Healy and Perry out @Former-Member - and 5 down now - me thinks we are in some trouble now

Re: All Things Sport...

The little Indian leggie Poonam Yadav has our batters totally bamboozled @Zoe7 . Looking hard to win now for the Aussies.

Think of you often @Scarecrowe and hope you are okay.
