All Things Sport...

All Things Sport...

There are many threads dedicated to sharing experiences - good times and not so good - so I thought I would start a thread for those on here who love their sport. For me - and I suspect for some others - sport is a good distraction as it often blocks out the more negative emotions and helps to avoid triggers that many other things in 'life' so often seem to do.

This thread can also be a place where like-minded (and not so like-minded people @utopia @Former-Member @Zoe7 lol) can 'discuss/debate' their respective competitions in their preferred sport(s).

For those that are definitely NOT into sport @Phoenix_Rising for example - avoid this thread at all costs - whoops just tagged you in..........hahaha!!!!!

Yes @Shaz51 anything to do with internet and/or NBN is sooo frustrating. Totally fed up with it myself. Does your issues have anything to do with all the rain up there?

Dylan Alcott just won the wheelchair quad tennis. So much admiration for him and his fellow players. Such an inspiration. @Zoe7

You and @Former-Member having issues with internet and access @Shaz51 - super sucks

Alcott just won his 6th Australian Open final in a row - great to see another Aussie doing well - he really is such a champion 🏆

Re: All Things Sport...

Yes very true @Zoe7

@Shaz51 Our NBN has been down a lot since the fires around here back in November. Almost weekly outages and maintenance. Then we had severe electrical storms here a week ago and the week prior too. So that was there excuse for another two week outage. Unfortunately when it was finally back on from last Tuesday, we had nothing. Looks like a modem issue now. After all the outages, it just isnt kicking back in. We have a techo coming in on Monday to try to fix the problem. Fingers crossed they get us back on then.

Re: All Things Sport...

Yes @Zoe7 watching. This pair were wildcards, so did really well to make it to the final. I saw their semi final during the week.

Did you see the womens final last night? I didnt mind either way who won.
