All Things Sport...

All Things Sport...

There are many threads dedicated to sharing experiences - good times and not so good - so I thought I would start a thread for those on here who love their sport. For me - and I suspect for some others - sport is a good distraction as it often blocks out the more negative emotions and helps to avoid triggers that many other things in 'life' so often seem to do.

This thread can also be a place where like-minded (and not so like-minded people @utopia @Former-Member @Zoe7 lol) can 'discuss/debate' their respective competitions in their preferred sport(s).

For those that are definitely NOT into sport @Phoenix_Rising for example - avoid this thread at all costs - whoops just tagged you in..........hahaha!!!!!

Re: All Things Sport...

Know all about that @Zoe7 for sure.......my mouth and waistline are constantly argueing with each other.........and I want to lose weight before my birthday next year......not really achieving my goals and all this xmas food does not help.

If Maxwell had stayed there I reckon the Stars would have won

still waiting for your pic to clear my friend

Re: All Things Sport...

I turn 50 next year so hoping to do much the same as you @Scarecrowe The meds certainly did not help in that regard but have lost about half of the weight I put on. Looking forward to getting out for some beach walks with Toby and building my strength up again over the summer break. I struggled to walk up the stairs at work this year but my mental health was the most important to stay on top of - now I can work on my physical well being and strength again.

Re: All Things Sport...

I turn 50 next year as well @Zoe7

Yes meds make weight gain such a problem but as you said you need to take care of one before worrying about the other...................

I can't blame meds for my weight gain.....just poor eating habits which happens when I get down and had enough etc......chocolate makes me feel better......until I see my waist then I get down and then I each chocolate again..............vicious circle...........

your pic of Toby still has not cleared

I agree @Scarecrowe @Zoe7 ... Siddle has been a great buy for the Strikers. He had a really good season last year for them after they picked him up from the Renegades, looks like he will carry that form over to this season. I'm happy that the Strikers won.

I also agree about Chocolate. 🤩 Still waiting for your pic to come through Zoe.

Night Mod is slow tonight @Scarecrowe @Former-Member - or maybe keeping the photo to themselves 'cos it is pretty cute. Do you have a baby photo of Holly Sherry?
