@ENKELI am unexpected windfall would be nice and very much needed.

I have a pair of gloves in the car for the really cold days but I don't think I've ever actually used them other than to see how they fit/feel 😂.

Ooohhh heated seats, how fancy! A heated steering wheel, that's just crazy 😂. I usually just pull my hoodie over my hands when I'm driving.

I found them on ebay, can't even remember how much they were now though.

@MissGremlin alas, I bought my car when I was earning scads of money and had plenty of disposable income. Can't believe that was almost 10 years ago. Been downhill since then. I haven't worn gloves for a long time, it was mostly when I was starting work really early, like 6am and the mornings were icy.

@Glisten I suspect I get my investigative skills working for the Big T. Chasing up bad debtors and people who liked to put their phone service in fake names. Oooh yes there's a story or 3 there!! (Elvis was still alive and well. Living in Balga of all places. Exchange code BLCT)

It was often a detective role, getting accurate information for both residential and small business.

Or it could be that I am a stalker and it's in my nature to try and find things out...

@ENKELI I'm glad you were able to get your car when you did. I'm sorry things have gone downhill for you though sweet but doesn't mean that they can't go uphill again.

Yes, Paris (my car) is almost 10 now but I love her and I wouldn't consider upgrading for a while yet.

I love my car even though she drives me nuts and needs alot of work but even if i had the money i wouldn't buy a new one but rather I'd fix her up.
