@Bunniekins that's good to hear your sleep has improved.

I have been having broken sleep the past few weeks so I am always tired in the morning.

I am studying still, sigh. I have an assessment to complete ASAP as well as a week of study to catch up on. I am hoping to complete the assessment Monday and get started on the units.

It must be so tricky to feel like your sex drive can re-awaken when alcohol is involved, especially when you are so conscious of how that can impact you and your partner. I wonder what would happen if your partner and you explored connection/general intimacy beforehand? Maybe with the antidepressants at play, a little more work needs to be put in to facilitate that space for you?

Have you revisited this discussion with your GP at all?

Hi @AuntGlow my mum turns 86 in a few days time and has a few health concerns. So for our family we think about how many more of anything does mum have left, because our dad celebrated his 86th birthday of November a few years back and while we knew he had health issues, what we didn't know was that he had a nasty form or Leukemia and he died that same year on Christmas day. So my sister makes sure that we celebrate everything with mum, because you never know when her time will be up. Unfortunately, my sister brings this to my mum's attention too often, but her response is that she will live until she is at least 100, and I truly hope she does.

As I think I mentioned previously, my daughter currently feels that she is safe and has already made her mind up that once she finishes school, she wants to get a job so she can move out. But I am hoping that I have acquired a rental by then, so this will help her out.

I have also been safe and there have been no more occurrences of the abusive behaviour. He had agreed that his behaviour was not acceptable and that maybe seeing a therapist again is not a bad idea. And while he has agreed with the idea, I am sure that unless I make the arrangements, nothing will be done. But currently things have returned to normal, and we are still getting used to living in such a confined space. And saving as much as we can for a rental.

@DownMoreThanUp I really wish that I could see my partner and my dad again. That ghost song has made me think about them.

@AuntGlow I am plodding along today, trying to catch up on posts after having a few blah days. I have crystal deliveries to open, washing to fold and I just want to research the information on what crystals that I have ordered.

But I should do some folding. Maybe I will do a little bit of one thing, then a little bit of another, and so on.

But I am safe and ok, just waiting for some motivation to hit. Lol
