@Mustang67 I am the same re Joan Jett. They used to play I Love Rock & Roll in the pubs in Kalgoorlie when I lived there. We had different lyrics that are not suitable for general audiences relating to a person we all disliked. My ex and his mates would sing their lyrics loudly and I would just laugh at them.

I found I Hate Myself later on in life as well.
