I'm like you now though, nothing scares me in movies.

Back in the mid 90's, I'd had knee surgery and was off work for a week recovering. Being bored I grabbed my brothers' collection of the Alien series. I don't remember which one it was now but I had the house in darkness and the sound up. There was a quiet scene and all of a sudden my front door opened (my brother coming home from afternoon shift, it was about 10pm at night) and I hit the roof. I have never been so startled in my life! I think that probably cured me of being scared of movies.

At first he wondered what the fuss was about, then he laughed. I admit I laughed as well, after I'd removed my fingernails from the ceiling!
