Wow. I forgot all about that song @ENKELI and I like that version! I loved the beat! It sounded more like bongos than drums, but it could all be synthesised. I didn't know the lyrics before either. 💜

I bought two tickets to a Sade concert in the 80's with months to find someone to go with. I ended up giving the tickets to a couple who were in the 'honeymoon' stage of their relationship. They had a great time and I got many thanks. 😆

@heartathome glad you like that version too! 4 King & Country have 3 - 4 percussionists when performing so it's likely drums. I have always been a fan of percussion and bass so any band with more than one drummer is always going to catch my ear!!

I think I mentioned early on that I had the pleasure of meeting Joel and Luke (4K&C) before they performed in Perth back in 2019. I jokingly said I didn't want to meet them, I wanted to meet their drummer and Joel laughed, looked at Luke (who plays drums also) and said "which one?!" I felt like such a numpty but they were good natured about it. I have a photo with them and they also signed our posters. I wanted to see them the second time they came in 2024 but had to work back late so missed out.
One of the most difficult things is that my ex friend also likes the band and we went together so I couldn't listen to them for a while. Having only recently been delivered from the pain that the end of that relationship caused I know I probably would have been a blubbering mess had I gone the second time.

Next time they come though, I'm there baby!
