@Taali Love the Celtic link. Yeah! Finally a bit of folk.

I actually prefer a very broad range of music than just the pop rock stuff. I thought of doing a Masters in Ethnomusicology, once ... but actually am happier not reducing music to academics. So been very lucky to do and love all sorts. Not saying I am any good at it. Just paddling along. I am more interested in the whys, than the judgy budgy thingummy. Yep analyse the celebrity status, rather than drool over it. Met a few. They are all hooman.

So sorry @TAB butI can't say I enjoyed that one.

Maybe I'm just getting old 😕

@Appleblossom I have to say that I love your use of technical terminology, JBT....

I tend to steer away from instrumental when listening to music for pleasure and recreation but lean on it for meditation etc

I get distracted by words at those times.

How goes it in your world?

Mine started up a bit dodgy (I woke up feeling very nauseous 🤢) but have come good now with a little help from meds and some relaxation 😌

Seeing my psychiatrist today which may be the reason.

I hope to tell him that I think we can cut back to 6 monthly visits

I have my mental health support worker prior to that so she can, hopefully help me.

My personal world is steady and quiet and creative and productive, as it has been for most of my life. Eg., I am online doing various things for 2 x Mental Health/Mad Pride/ Faith based spaces. Sorry, if I seem too technical, it is partly me seeking clarity and meaning, and a defence against the harms done to my family by ignorant self serving social discrmination and psychiatry, tho I dont fall completely into the anti-psychiatry basket. There are many who are trying.

My family world is extremely vulnerable and damaged, beyond repair, and I can get easily triggered, by people's mention of their families. I dont want to diminish your time with your brother. Enjoy, make the most of it.

@Taali I am not sure what issues you are referring to but being right wing and conservative doesn't mean you can't be philanthropic. I will certainly do some research on what his beliefs were however.

For example, I am a conservative Christian but I advocate for animal welfare and fairer treatment of disadvantaged people. I will probably draw some hate for this but I love Jacinta Nampijinpa Price and follow her and her beliefs.
