Good on you @ArraDreaming for your first half marathon and raising money for mental health - well done.

I hope the weather isn't too bad

I was doing somewhat ok until we decided to take in a young lady(21) and her Support dog recently. This young lady was in the process of leaving her Crisis Care accommodation and moving in our spare room. My hubby and I caught her out in so many lies so we told her to come collect her dog and find other accommodation. After many messages(harassment) from her over a couple of days she finally collected her dog at 10pm on 29th November. She called me every foul name under the sun. She assaulted me. Im a 60(next month) and have severe Spinal Issues that cause me alot of pain. She knows this but it didn't stop her from assaulting me. No I didn't call the Police. This set me back so much with my Mental Health. Never again will I fall for sob stories on Facebook!

hi @Phoenix65,

gosh that's awful!! i'm so sorry that happened to you. it really sucks when you try to do something nice for someone, and it ends up backfiring.

i did want to check in, are you safe at the moment? are you getting any support?

no one deserves to be treated this way. i imagine it'll take some time to fully process this, as it is quite recent - do take your time. i can hear how this setback can feel disheartening, but please know that this wasn't your fault. would you be open to making a police report, or is that completely off the tables?

i'm glad you're here, and you've shown so much strength in reaching out here. we're here for you 💗

i'm glad you've got your hubby looking out for you!! were you able to visit a GP to check on your spine/any injuries? @Phoenix65
