my partner refused a video call he had agreed to take on Saturday morning.

hes been ghosting me ever since and we usually chat on WhatsApp all day Sat and Sun.

feeling abandoned and like if he doesn’t love/want me what’s the point in anything….?

sis is on my back about exercising more yet again. Hard with chronic 8/10 knee pain.

im not asking much from him or being unreasonable. Couples do video chats or FaceTime all the time. Can’t figure out why he won’t. It’s bugging me.

bushfires only 20Ks from here have me worried and checking the Fires Near Me app every 20-30 mins.

both Sane sessions cancelled this arvo. I looked forward to them eagerly all morning.

had a good session with my new NDIS supporter this morning.

shes a good listener and even hugged me when I cried.

fixed the sticking front door lock with Dads WD40. Yay!

did some cleaning and tidying.

planning on knitting and drawing all arvo.

Enjoying a nice coffee and some music and trying to ignore my partner treating me so unfairly.

hey @Abbz77 we appreciate you sharing here. i'm so sorry to hear the urges have been stronger, being ghosted is no fun at all. i hope your partner does communicate more clearly soon, the poor communication from his end isn't a reflection of your worth.

i'm really glad to hear you've been reaching out for support and focusing on other things to balance it out! what are you knitting at the moment?

haha @Shaz51 those tea pot collections must take up some space! i don't use teapots myself but i have seen some really pretty ones that make me tempted. i guess... we can turn the teapots into flower vases 😋

@Abbz77 I'm sorry your partner won't video chat and I can understand that you're wondering why he won't. My partner won't video chat me either. My fella is in his 70's, but his daughter could set him up if he wanted. He just says he doesn't like the video chat. Fair enough. I miss seeing him, though.

The fires are terribly sad! My sister is near the fire but not surrounded by bush. She's safe.
