@heartathome Good on you! It is always awesome when we achieve those things we find difficult to do.
i set yup the cage for Zeta our female Rottweiler on heat and reintroduced her to having to spend time there in. Zeus, our boy Rottweiler, was more trouble than she. He hates it when he cannot get to her any more when she is in this state. Cannot blame him really. Yet he would not dream of trying to force his way in. She can sleep with him at night no worries this way for though he hates her in there he will not try get her out. Poor girl will have to spend at least 10 days away from him. If we put him in there he winches all night long, but Zeta accepted it very easily last time, and so far she behaves the same.
We make sure she gets lots of out time, when Zeus is in and he gets lots of out time when she is in. That way both stay happy during her cycle. She is 18 months and i hope to breed her 12 months from now. So one more cycle to go like this.

Zeus is depressed with Zeta in the cage.
Zeta is not too fussed about it all.
i tested my pond water this morning, after improving the water flow a few days ago, and it is now so clear that hoses in the pond previous out of sight, show up clearly. i can see fish at 1 metre deep, the pond is only 1.2 metre. i'm so very pleased that now we have been having warmer weather the filter is still working so well. (We have many fish in our pond, which makes keeping the pond water clear a real challenge, especially with warmer weather.)
The filtration problem i been having for so many years, and such a high cost and so much work, has all been solved designing and then building this filter 4-5 month back.
i've had a real good day today, hardly any anxiety, and very mild when i did, and best of all no depression.
