I'm just about to make my coffee- I can't decide between iced or my usual hot. Might even add in some hazelnut syrup to really jazz up my morning!

What's on for today?

Hi all,

Hope everyone is doing okay and surviving the heat/humidity.

I had my haircut this morning 9am picked up my meds from Chemist came home & put the air con on as is hot and humidity here today as well sitting having my nice iced caramel latte

Then back out again this afternoon for a session with my physcologist, am going to have a towel around my neck to keep cool I don't do well with humidity

Here you go @AlwaysMyself . This is my son's dog. She's a rescued terrier cross. She's very gentle and has been wonderful for my son! She did 12 months training as a service animal but needed more training. My son decided to stop because it was very expensive (in our eyes)! She loves her mum's visits but is definetly a 'daddy's girl. I adore her!

His cat is is another rescue. She came from an abusive start so she's not a cuddly cat (at the moment). 💚

They are so beautiful @heartathome 😍. I can see why they are also a highlight to visit. Service dog training is both expensive and a lot of work from what i have heard from others.

My first dog was a guide dog puppy - which is great because you get all the training support you need plus it doesnt cost plus its only a 12 month commitment. It was the perfect idea for a year off work for me in the past. Taught me a lot about dog training for the basics. 😊

@Abby6_2025 i hear you on the heat and humidity. A cold towel is a great idea. I dislike the heat, but even more dislike the humidity. Both at once is just yuck to me, as @Shaz51 knows lol.

I think i shall soon go out to join people for a coffee @Shaz51 , with my retired friends who meet daily. I think i've "earned" an iced latte 😋 with my housework. Ill be thinking of you whilst i am there, because of coffee of course!!

Hi @GalaxyGuide . Don't think we've met before. I had assumed you were a new PSW until @avant-garde mentioned you've been around a while in one of the Hub/spaces. Makes sense because its not a hub i read generally. I guess "welcome to the social hub" too? 🥰 look forward to getting to know you also. Feel free to intro yourself and interests or ask me about mine if you'd like. But also no pressure to.

Ps @Shaz51 - yep the bigger girl dog (on the chair) does use the dining table as a head rest if i am sitting at the table and she comes up for a pat or stickybeak 😅🤣
