listening to my favourite Pink Floyd song while recalling the first time i watched their movie The Wall in 1986. Anyone else watched that movie? (highly recommend it👍)

@DownMoreThanUp I saw The Wall at an amphitheatre in Perth when it came out. The bricks seemed to be falling from the ceiling. It was amazing! I bought my son the movie, t-shirt and poster for his 16th birthday. He wasn't born till the 90's. He loved it. I've brought him up on all the old music from the 60s, 70s and 80s. Pink Floyd and The Wall is a classic!! 🙃

Good morning @MissGremlin I've got a little bit planned for today. I'm meeting a woman who I know has CPTSD among other mental health issues. She's not on any medications nor has she ever seen anyone. She hasn't got a computer so she can't get on here. She's very lonely and highly stressed. I hope I can help her just by being with her. My boundaries will be up when I meet with her! I have to take care of my own mental health. I hope you have a good day! 🙃

@heartathome oh your friend sounds a bit like me, i have a range of mental health conditions including cptsd and I'm not on medications but I have seen many people to seek support, unfortunately though I've slipped through the cracks alot and finding the right support has been a challenge. But I keep trying and I'm thankful to have an amazing community of support here ☺️. I'm sure it will help her just you being there today and yes please do make sure you look after yourself in the process. We are always here for you whenever you need us ❤️.

@heartathome Prayers that you will have a good meeting seeing this woman.

Personally i found helping others who suffer pain can also help heal our own pain. As long as we offload/process the pain loaded on us and not stack it on top of our own.
