Sunday Coffee and Chat -- 28th September 2025

@BipolarRich Yes they can sure be, and although this stone hurt heaps, i have had it very much worse in the past. Twice i ended up in Hospital with a very big stone but then i spewed my gut up from the pain. However i have passed many smaller stones, which can still hurt me bad enough to keep me up all night, but pass before i have feel in need to go to Hospital (i'm not at all keen being in hospitals without my normal supports and comforts at home.😀)

I was comfortable at church...---- that is great @avant-garde

@Shaz51 It has been wet and windy over here in Albany although not overly cold 19-20C.

@avant-garde That is greatest. i rarely feel safe there. So many people in one place i find in itself already intimidating. Neither do i often agree with the sermons, which is a criminal offence in some peoples eyes.🤐

I often get triggered by sermons and have previously walked out in tears.

I also ask questions and don't take sermons at face value.

@avant-garde For years i could not go to Church because i would get too sad, or too angry, depending on my mood. However when i'm feeling well, i now love to go. For i believe Church belongs to the believers and has Christ as King, and ought never to be an institution ruled by people

@DownMoreThanUp like you I value the community of people as the church.

I also dont always agree with talks i hear at churches, or sometimes the opposite i have heard are just so surface level that they are almost meaningless.

I have seen churches/groups where you are not able to question (even with good intent), and that is a big red flag to me. I am always open to healthy friendly and respectful questioning and debate. I am not a person who takes things at face value if they do not make sense or have evidence. Which I know sounds funny when talking about a belief in God, I see the irony lol.

We got low 20's today and thats warm enough for me. Currently quite a nice temperature to sit in today. You can keep your heat and humidity, but maybe send me some mangos and lychee? 🤣

I have had a stressful week and today I had to keep myself still and grounded. Its cool here so blankets, reading, crocheting and watching Youtube! I found a bew channel which so resonates with me I have been watching it all day. Busy day tomorrow and I doing something I know is going to challenge me 🥴
