@Bunniekins hehe this makes me chuckle, I am with you on the loathing of summer. Even as the weather is starting to warm up now, I hate it. Give me rain any day 🤣

@RebelliousAngel can I call you Rebel? yes its only spring and everything is so hot already and all these people around me are saying things like "oh what a beautiful day!" "look at the flowers" "what have you got planned for the weekend? are you going to the beach" ugghhh!

@Bunniekins Rebel is fine by me 🙂.

It feels like the start of spring is hotter than it would usually be, makes me worried about what summer is going to be like. Oh don't get me started on those that are always making comments on the lovely hot weather, I don't know how they can stand it. I walk into the sun and feel like a vampire about to burst into flames 🤣.

Re: a thread for all those who hate summer

@Bunniekins the life of a night owl 🤣. I find it hard to breathe when the humidity is high, sleeping when it's hot is impossible. Why can't it be winter all year round 🤣

Re: a thread for all those who hate summer

@RebelliousAngel idk Rebel re winter all year round. Apparently there is a country in Europe somewhere (i will have to look it up ...) where it rains almost all of the year.... it is the wettest place in the world. give me a min and ill find it. i want to move there.

Re: a thread for all those who hate summer

@RebelliousAngel ok the wettest place in the world is Columbia! ( might give that a miss) But the wettest place in Europe is Norway or Britain! ill take Norway 😄

@Bunniekins hold on, just let me pack my bags and I'll be on my way 🤣. Ok so maybe not winter all year round but definitely not the scorching heat that we get during summer 🤣.

@RebelliousAngel

Norway:
Known for its rainy cities like Bergen, which receives around 240 days of rain per year, the Norwegian Atlantic coast is a very wet region.
United Kingdom:
The UK, including its constituent countries Scotland and Ireland, also features prominently on lists of the wettest places in Europe due to its persistent rainfall.
  • Often mentioned alongside Norway and the UK for its high levels of precipitation, especially its Atlantic coast.
