@RebelliousAngel i love your spider cobweb broom story lol. 🤣 thank you for sharing it. 🙂
@Appleblossom sounds yum! How nice to hear your son made/shared dinner with you. 🥰
Hoping you had a lovely coffee day @Shaz51 even though we played message a tag a few times today!

@RebelliousAngel thank you…overall it was good,
though I was a bit intense in conversation, when someone was feisty and talking about being brought up to fight. I was trying to be balanced and blurted… I guess I have been too self controlled for most of my life so it feels very scary….
I did church in the morning and music in the afternoon
it has taken a while to get a life.
l liked your spider story too.
I found a neighbour’s black cat in my house this morning. My cats were curious, not sure if there was hissing during the night. They seemed a bit scared. Yep. I let it out, too.

Update on the ear seal solutions
I got the transparent conforming tape, cut it to size, stuck it to my ears and then used food covers folded over to make sure it worked.
Then I wrote this
tonight was the first day
I got to wash my hair
after 6 entire weeks
of stupid ear infections
with waterproof tape
cut to ten by five
to keep the water out
despite condensation
then these plastic food covers
to make just doubly sure
no water getting in them
not completely secure
so I finally washed my hair
it feels good to have it clean
three washes did it
then brushed my teeth
taking the plastic off
that was the easy part
it was just elastic
keeping it on
then it was the tape
the screeching through my ears
hearing it so very close
I really wanted to scream
ears sore and painful
red like they're infected
from the sensory overload
of pulling tape off my ears
it's just once a week
I have to endure this nightmare
where I'm rocking back and forth
to try and settle down
there has to be another way
and I have to find it
no I can't use ear plugs
nothing in my ears
just to wash my hair
because of this stupid doctor
who didn't understand
hopefully next time someone else

@Appleblossom glad it was good overall 🙂.
I find it so hard to stay balanced when having conversations with others mainly cos I struggle to hold conversations with anyone. Can understand the fear behind it but it sounds like you've come a long way with it and did your best in the moment 🩵.
Sounds like a nice day with both church and music 🙂.
The spider story makes me smile which i needed today 😀.
Cheeky black cat sneaking in, hopefully your cats are ok now?

@avant-garde oh hun I'm so glad you found something that worked (although only a temporary solution) so that you could wash your hair, I bet it felt so good to have nice clean hair after so long 🩵.
I hear your pain with the tape on the ears, the sound and feeling is horrible 😢. I understand the sensory overload that comes with it and how hard it is to settle after that. Wanting to send some gentle hugs your way, I'm sorry that you're going through this just to be able to wash your hair.
How has your evening been since then?

@RebelliousAngel
That was yesterday, back to the shower cap tonight
I had fish and chips for dinner, haven't had the stomach to eat much since writing out my whole rehab trauma story yesterday
I have the leftovers in the fridge now

@avant-garde fish and chips sounds delicious and I'm glad you were able to eat something 🙂.
Can understand not having the stomach to eat much, trauma has a big impact on us both physically and mentally.
Bonus to having leftovers 🙂.
Have you got any plans for tomorrow? You still up for making your phone call? I gotta psych myself up to make mine, that's going to be fun 🤣.
