Hi @Adge lovely hearing from you! Yes the other week I managed to snap a few pics I had never seen a black shouldered kite before only knew it was that as my friend good with birds told me haha. The other day he was back and got better pics! I’ll post one below ☺️. I was on a real high, nice to see something you have never seen before!

Yesss I thought it was you who owned a lot of birds I remember speaking with you when I was first connecting with everyone!! I loved hearing all about what types of birds you had! Animals are awesome aren’t they!!

Can't say craft group was great, when your friend is in a bad mood and decides that multiple little things about you are bugging her and decides to tell you about them.

Pleased to meet you @AuntGlow! What makes my heart sing? Hmm. I don't know about singing but I'm very happy when my son is well and looking after himself! He has schizoaffective, PTSD, depression and anxiety. He's in his 30's. We get on well... most of the time. My faith makes me happy! My psychiatrist is my support. I've been seeing him for over 20 years! Being someone with a lived/ living experience (as everybody on here is!) and caring for my son, at times, mental health is a huge part of my life. I am a huge advocate. It is so important! I really love being a part of the community for connecting with other people who understand mental health. 🙃

@avant-garde oh hun, sorry to hear it wasn't great. I imagine that would have been hard. How are you feeling now?

First I bumped the table when a template shape dropped out as I was setting up and she said to just not drop paper.

Then she assumed I was wearing my hearing aids and said to turn them down because I was talking too loud for her very sensitive ears.

You can't wear hearing aids when you have infections

I'm not even allowed to put my finger in my ear let alone a hearing aid! Why do you think I'm using ear covers in the shower and not allowed to use ear plugs!

I get she was in a bad mood but she also needed to account for my feelings not her own comfort!
