Hi @Chasingsunsets No I did not know that you had seen a Black Shouldered Kite.

That sounds exciting. I've rarely seen Kites, Hawks or Eagles.

Yes I have about 9 different species of Finches, about 40 or so all up. Plus Doves & a few different species of Parrots.

They keep me company along with my 3 Cats.

As there is no-one else here, & it would be lonelier without my animals & Birds.

I use my phone, the notes app comes in handy for my little squirrel brain

@AnnoyedSheDevil good idea but I try not to use my phone too much when I'm out cos I'm worried I'll drop it 🤣

@REDLINEZ750 Yes I was a pack a day smoker or more. Weakened and had one after dinner. I’m running out of smokes and will try not to buy any more.

If you can, invest in a decent phone case and maybe even a screen protector. I can't even count the number of times I've dropped my phone, but my case has kept it really safe.

I still write out lists on paper sometimes, it can help me formulate what I need versus what I want. Definitely helps when tallying up costs with my budget.

@AnnoyedSheDevil thanks for the suggestions 🙂. It's eventually just having to stop and look at my phone that I feel uncomfortable doing cos i don't want to get in anyone's way 🤣. I manage, I usually remember most things and if I forget something I go back another day to get it.

i struggled with the addiction to nicotine fighting to survive around last smoke time, i lot of anxiety and thought processes that made me desire the habit stronger at the fonality of having none, i rolled my own though so got to draw it out lot longer than with a pack.

i wish you success and feel for the extra level of difficulty considering your state of mind you mentionred

@heartathome i hear you on the showers. I hate them too, and force myself to on work days or outings. Not sure why I dislike them, I think its the being wet after getting out of the shower and having to dry off.

Can't believe it is Sunday night already. Surely there needs to be another day of weekend before I return to work tomorrow... 😵‍💫🥴 ah well. Work is a change of scenery.
