I don't know how to handle this
I was just in the supermarket before Bible study and I'm a naturally smiley person and this guy thought I smiled at him and he took note of my fidget necklace and he asked me out.

@ArraDreaming sorry you feel that way. I am not here to try and convince you otherwise but if you ever have questions or want to know anything about faith I am happy to chat with you. I'm happy to chat with you about anything 😍

I have friends who say the same thing and I like your honesty, so thank you

@ArraDreaming my dear friend, you have no need to apologise. You are voicing your opinion and you are allowed to. I know you have amazing stories of the Dreamtime which I respect, who am I to say I'm right against what your beliefs are?
How are you going these days? How are the kids and Mrs Arra?

@avant-garde , I'm along the same mindset at you. That's how I was brought up @avant-garde
My parents are not Christian, but through the word, that was what I was taught.
Save myself the heartache. I'm super happy to be on my own.

@tyme that's interesting that you were not brought up Christian, you found faith on your own. For me and the majority of my Christian friends we all had some upbringing in the church. For me it was my Grandmothers and mum, my maternal grandmother was the epitome of what a Christian woman should be, loving, kind and forgiving, above all faithful to Jesus. When she knew she didn't have long to live she was so serene and she told me she knew she was going to be with God. I wait patiently (sometimes not so patiently!) to see her again when I "go home" to the Lord.
Do you mind me asking how you came about your faith? I find it even more wonderful that you discovered God on your own and not because of your upbringing.
How about you @avant-garde? Were you brought up in a Christian/religious home?
And I'm with @tyme - I've been single far too long now to want a spouse. And after renewing my faith I know I could only date a Christian man. I am a lot older though so I think that also may make a difference.
